Christmas Pictures and Ho Ho!

This past week, Parker had a little photo shoot with the tree and was able to see Santa Claus at school. She talked about seeing him all week and once the time came, wasn't sure of him. I was finally able to persuade her to sit and have her picture with him. After that, he was her buddy for life!

Turkey Day '09

Thanksgiving was again chaotic like it is every year but this year Jeff didn't have to rush back for "Black Friday" We were able to relax and visit with family. Parker had actually left the Friday before to stay with my parents and my aunt until we were able to come down Wednesday. I was missing her terribly and so ready to see her. The longest we have been apart in a good while. We visited my family first and had Thanksgiving Thursday with the entire family. It was really nice to see everyone. Unfortunately, Heather had to get up and work on Friday so it was short lived. Jeff and I loaded up on Friday and headed to Conway to visit Jeff's family. We missed Thanksgiving with everyone but we were able to see almost everyone on Saturday while we watched the Hog's game at Uncle Jon's and Aunt Julie's house. We had a GREAT time and it was so wonderful to see everyone. Parker had a blast playing with Abbi, Anna, Allison and Kaki. She can't wait to see you all again! Sadly, we had to load up and come back home Sunday. It was great to be home but we look forward to seeing everyone again on Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho! Sorry to disappoint but I didn't take a single picture the entire trip!

Yesterday, Parker had her Thanksgiving dinner at school. I didn't take too many pictures because I was eating as well, :). Most of the parents made delicious foods and treats for them to eat for lunch. Parker was sad that I had to go back to work but on the plus side, daddy picked her up early and she doesn't have to go back until next Monday. Parker will be going back with my parents tonight and staying with them for a few days and then staying with my aunt a few days. I will be away from my girl until next Wednesday! What am I going to do with my life??? Hopefully, get all of my school work completed so I will be FINISHED and a little bit of rest and relaxation!

Woooo Pig Soooie!

Last Saturday, we took Parker to her first Razorback football game. We were playing Troy State. Parker loves the Hogs and was extremely excited about going and watching. She talked about it all day and even practiced her "hog calling". We went to a friend's house and had to walk a million miles to get to the stadium but once we were there she was all into it. She liked watching the mascots and absolutely loves the "girl razorback". I think she had a great time and I can't wait until we can take her again. I'm sure we will be taking her to plenty of basketball games.

A Day at the Park

A few Fridays ago, Parker and I went to the park to play for a while. It was extremely nice out especially since we have had so much rain. She was happy to get out and I was happy to be hanging out with her and not working! We live right by a really great park so we took the opportunity to hit it up for about an hour. She loves the big slide and likes to explore all of the toys.

Waaaay Behind

I have been slacking some kind of bad on my bloggin, mainly due to the fact that my pictures weren't put on the comp, but hopefully I can do some catch up. For Halloween, we all went to Conway to go trick or treating with the King kids. Parker was really excited to dress up as a kitty. The Friday before we left, Parker had a class Halloween party and they had to dress in pajamas for the day so I have a few pictures of her class party. Jeff's grandma Cinnamon was down while we were visiting so Parker was able to visit with her just a little bit too. I think she really loved trick or treating with her cousins but after about 30 minutes she was over it and ready to go home. I'm sure all of the walking didn't help matters!

Hoop Match

Jeff will probably kill me for posting this but here are some action shots from his basketball game on Sunday. Yes, basketball game. OLD MEN!

Halloween/Reagan's Birthday Party

Saturday night, Jeff and I had the rare pleasure of actually going and doing something without Parker. Our friend Shawn, yes a guy, and his girlfriend offered to watch Parker for a few hours while we had a little fun for a friend's birthday. We were only going to be there for a few hours but we tried to make it as fun as possible. Yes, it was a mandatory costume party and Jeff wasn't a for sure to go until a few days before. I knew I did not want to wear the dreaded "Belle" costume again so I decided on being a "black eyed P". Simple and cheap! To make it fun, Jeff and I were both a black eyed P and he hated every minute of it but what was his idea? Yeah, thought so. Too bad we didn't take a picture together. We were super cute in our god awful cheap costumes! We did have a great time but missed out on the fun and scary haunted house trip. Thanks Reagan for the invite!

Razorback Basketball

Friday night there was a red/white game for the Razorbacks. Jeff and I usually always try and go to the scrimmage games but since Parker it has been kind of hard. We are hoping that Parker will love basketball just as much as we do but we won't be too disappointed if she doesn't. We really knew that Parker would love seeing Big Red, Porkchop and the "girl" as Parker calls her. Of course, we were correct. She couldn't/wouldn't take her eyes off of the Razorbacks but she was really interested in the "girl. She watched her every move and was very disappointed when she went to the other side of the court. Parker had a great time running up and down the isles since there weren't very many people there. We figured she would get some good exercise in. We were able to get a few pictures of Parker with the Razorbacks and hopefully we can take her to a few basketball games this year. GO HOGS!

Halloween Carnival

Last week, Parker's school had a Halloween carnival for all of the kids to play games and have a little fun while still getting candy and prizes. Parker is a cat this year and she is so excited and will tell everyone she is a "kitty cat". She is more of a tiger cat but who cares?! The staff, which is me, had to dress up as a Disney character and in true fashion, I waited until a few days before to decide/find a costume. I wanted to make one to save money but I am creativeLESS so instead I bought a way too pricey costume. I went as Belle from Beauty in the Best with a nice BIG YELLOW dress. All the kids and staff seemed to know who I was so it wasn't a true flop. Parker had a great time but was a little confused seeing all of her teachers dressed up as funny/scary characters. Her teacher was Cruella Deville and she was not happy about. Mrs. Teresa won the costume costume so all is well. Here are a few pictures that Jeff took throughout the night.
