Poor Sick Baby

For the past week, I have had to stay home with Parker while she is getting over an ear infection, pneumonia and Roseola! We had to take her to the Emergency Room Monday and that was no fun at all. She was running an extremely high fever and looked just miserable. I had never even heard of Roseola until we took her for a follow up appointment on Thursday. It explains the sudden rash. I thought she was just allergic to her antibiotic. She seems to be feeling much better now and the rash is also starting to look better. I hate seeing her sick. I feel very helpless but you can only do what you can. Other than that, we are just counting down the days until she turns 1. I can hardly believe it is almost time. She has grown so much. It is so very exciting to see all of her progress. We have been taking some pictures but I'm very slow at getting them up. So hopefully in a few days, I can get some new pictures of her up here!

Chrimstmas

I know it is a little late but here are a few pictures of Parker opening her gifts and a couple in her red Christmas dress. She was very confused about the whole present opening process but she seemed to have a good time anyway.

9 Month Checkup

Yesterday, we took Parker for her 9 month checkup even though she turned 9 months on December 12. So it is a little closer to her 10 month checkup. Nonetheless, it all turned out wonderful and Dr. Froman said she was just perfect. She was doing well everywhere.
Progress Stats:
Length: 30 1/4 inches
Weight: 19 lbs
Appetite: She still has about 4 6 oz bottles a day, baby food and of course table food. She loves everything we eat. She went crazy for spaghetti the other night and seemed to enjoy chili dogs as well and the mess in her hair and on her face proved it! She is also eating biter biscuits, cookies, cheese, ,yogurt, little fruits and many other things. She is also getting to the point where she just doesn't want her baby food anymore. She is trying to grow up too fast.
Physical: She can crawl, pull up on anything, cruise furniture, stand alone for a few seconds and take one and a half steps alone. She is really trying to walk so maybe she will soon.
Right now she can wave bye-bye, play peek-a-boo and give high fives. She can say mama, ,dada, night night(which sounds like ni ni) uh oh and bye bye. She can say dada bye bye!

We won't see the doctor again until her 12 month appointment, which is so much closer than it seems. I am already starting to think about birthday ideas for her. I can't believe it is almost here. She is doing wonderful and I hope she continues to do so!
