Hoop Match

Jeff will probably kill me for posting this but here are some action shots from his basketball game on Sunday. Yes, basketball game. OLD MEN!

Halloween/Reagan's Birthday Party

Saturday night, Jeff and I had the rare pleasure of actually going and doing something without Parker. Our friend Shawn, yes a guy, and his girlfriend offered to watch Parker for a few hours while we had a little fun for a friend's birthday. We were only going to be there for a few hours but we tried to make it as fun as possible. Yes, it was a mandatory costume party and Jeff wasn't a for sure to go until a few days before. I knew I did not want to wear the dreaded "Belle" costume again so I decided on being a "black eyed P". Simple and cheap! To make it fun, Jeff and I were both a black eyed P and he hated every minute of it but what was his idea? Yeah, thought so. Too bad we didn't take a picture together. We were super cute in our god awful cheap costumes! We did have a great time but missed out on the fun and scary haunted house trip. Thanks Reagan for the invite!

Razorback Basketball

Friday night there was a red/white game for the Razorbacks. Jeff and I usually always try and go to the scrimmage games but since Parker it has been kind of hard. We are hoping that Parker will love basketball just as much as we do but we won't be too disappointed if she doesn't. We really knew that Parker would love seeing Big Red, Porkchop and the "girl" as Parker calls her. Of course, we were correct. She couldn't/wouldn't take her eyes off of the Razorbacks but she was really interested in the "girl. She watched her every move and was very disappointed when she went to the other side of the court. Parker had a great time running up and down the isles since there weren't very many people there. We figured she would get some good exercise in. We were able to get a few pictures of Parker with the Razorbacks and hopefully we can take her to a few basketball games this year. GO HOGS!

Halloween Carnival

Last week, Parker's school had a Halloween carnival for all of the kids to play games and have a little fun while still getting candy and prizes. Parker is a cat this year and she is so excited and will tell everyone she is a "kitty cat". She is more of a tiger cat but who cares?! The staff, which is me, had to dress up as a Disney character and in true fashion, I waited until a few days before to decide/find a costume. I wanted to make one to save money but I am creativeLESS so instead I bought a way too pricey costume. I went as Belle from Beauty in the Best with a nice BIG YELLOW dress. All the kids and staff seemed to know who I was so it wasn't a true flop. Parker had a great time but was a little confused seeing all of her teachers dressed up as funny/scary characters. Her teacher was Cruella Deville and she was not happy about. Mrs. Teresa won the costume costume so all is well. Here are a few pictures that Jeff took throughout the night.

Homecoming 2009

Last weekend, Parker and I went to DeQueen for my brother's homecoming. We made it in time for the auditorium spectacle and were able to see bubba for a bit. It is sad, ten years ago, I was the Homecoming Queen! Crazy how time flies! It is so exciting to watch homecoming and relive all of those wonderful memories. I know how exciting it is. I was a little disappointed in the decorations but what can you do. Saturday, Marjle had her 13th birthday party so we were able to be there for that too. Parker loves hanging out with Marjle and her friends. She seemed to have a great time with all of the "big kids". I have tons and tons of pictures but I won't post too many.

Leopard Football

A couple of weeks ago we went down to DeQueen to watch my brother play football and hang out with the fam. I was able to take a few pictures of Parker at the game. She had a great time cheering her "bubba" on and yelling Go Leopards! Brings back memories. We even were able to hear an authentic "Who ya rootin for?" For those of you who know what I am talking about, you will appreciate the nostalgia. Parker and I are going back down to DeQueen this Friday because it is my baby brother's Homecoming. I can hardly believe he is a Senior! I am sure to have a ton of good pictures from next weekend. It is my sister's 13th birthday as well, so we will have a fun time partying it up with her as well.

Yeah I don't really know...
