Happy Birthday to ME!

My birthday was Friday and I was actually able to celebrate it this year! Thursday night, Jeff and I randomly decided to drive to Conway so he could help his dad with his computer/internet issue. Hard to do over the phone. Friday, Jeff worked on the computer issues while I kept Parker entertained. We all did a little shopping that afternoon. I was able to buy Parker some cute new clothes and got some for myself too. I love buying clothes. That night, Jeff's parents kept Parker for us so we could have a night out ALONE! Jeff had the night planned out so I didn't really know what we were going to do. We went to dinner at Cajun's Wharf in Little Rock. It was okay but not the greatest for the price we paid! After dinner, we went and picked up my future sister-in-law and we headed to the River Marker, where I have never been! We walked around a bit and then went into Ernie Biggs, similar to Willy D's and had some drinks, well I had most of the drinks. I was feeling pretty nice by the time we decided to head back. It was nice to get out and have a good time. We even saw our niece Kaylee while we were out! I came back and immediately hit the bed! I did happen to bring my camera and was able to get a few interesting pictures. :) Can't believe I'm 27!

Labor Day Festivities (Late, I know)

Labor day weekend, Parker and I went to De Queen to spend some time with my family. Jeff had to work all weekend so he couldn't join us. All of the family was there and it was nice to see everyone. I did bring my camera but didn't get it out ONCE! I am terrible, I know. Friday night we just hung around the house and did a little drinking. Well, mostly Amy and Brian did the drinking. Hilarity ensues, of course. Saturday, my parents had a BBQ at our house to celebrate the September birthdays. My dad's was Thursday and my birthday was Friday. :) We had a great time and had tons and tons of delicious food. Definitely had to get recipes from everyone. Parker and I headed back Sunday evening so we could see Jeff for a while.

Monday, we got up and visited Mychal and baby Treyson at the hospital. He is so darn cute and Mychal looked great. Still making me want another little one. After we visited them, we went to Boni's to see all of the girls. I loved holding baby Catherine and putting her to sleep. We took the girls to Chic fil a and we had lunch together. It was craziness!!! It was so great to see them and I hope we get to see them again. Parker loves her some HannahEmma and baby Catherine.

All in all, it was a great Labor Day weekend. Now, I'm ready for another long weekend!

The FAIR!

Last night, we decided we would take Parker to the Washington County fair so she could see the animals and ride a few rides. Boy, we honestly didn't anticipate spending as much money in the short amount of time that we were actually there. We did have a lot of fun watching Parker ride rides and winning her "Dara" from shooting some hoops. Yep, she won it all by herself. Parker and I rode the ferris wheel and I was having a panic attack the ENTIRE time. Something about being up in the air, with a not so safe contraption and a 2 1/2 year old was freaking me out! Parker rode a ride by herself, the carousel with daddy and then rode two more rides on her own. She had a great time looking at all the animals but they were definitely getting old after a while.

Around the House

Here are a few pictures of a few things that we have done around the house in the past week or so. We went to Wally world and wanted to find Parker some paint since she kept asking for it. I did happen to find INVISIBLE PAINT, well it is invisible until it hits the paper. Pretty cool stuff. A gel substance until it hits the paper. So, one day, we had a little fun doing some finger paints.

Then on Saturday, a friend of Parker's, Kate, wanted her to play in her water table. Parker seemed to have such a great time playing in the sand and filling the sand with water. She was making a much larger mess than our little friend Kate was.

Conway Visit

I has been a while since we actually went to Conway but I ended up leaving my entire camera bag there, had to wait for it to be mailed back and I have just been too lazy to get around to post any pictures from ANYTHING. So, tonight will be a post overload for sure. I guess we went to Conway about two weeks ago and had a really good time. Parker was of course into everything. Decide for yourself from this pic:
and this one
Someone thought it would be fun to sneak in the bathroom, get mommy's mascara and paint her face with it. She also had tons of concealer on as well. Let's just say she was "beautiful".

The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful. We celebrated Ki's birthday, Parker's cousin, at the bowling alley. We had a really great time. I was beating Jeff up until the last frame and then he pulled a win. Parker wanted to "roll the ball" but when it came time, she just chickened out. She did look super cute in her rent-a-shoes, always a delight to wear.

Working on her "laptop"

Jeff and I walked out the room sometime last week and left the laptop unattended. When we walked back into the room, this is what we found. Man, does she watch everything. Too funny and too cute.
