I'm Shaving

Parker and Jeff thought it would be a great idea for her to shave before her shower today. Daddy was shaving so of course, Parker had to do a little shaving too. She thought she was such a big and special girl.

Tea for Two

I caught some pictures of Parker having a tea party in the tub last night. She is too funny. She of course lines them up on the side of the tub so the floor is soaked with water by the end. She also likes to lie flat on her back while taking a bath.

Daddy Be Happy?

Parker has been doing the big girl thing and going poopy in the potty but after every bowel movement, she runs to me and says, "Mommy, I go poo poo. Daddy be happy?". I guess she wants to make sure that she is pleasing all!

Poker Face

Almost every morning or every other morning the song, Poker Face, comes onto the radio and I can faintly hear my precious daughter in the back singing the chorus. For a good while, I couldn't even understand what she was saying. Now she will request to hear "Poker Face". She will put on the headphones and sing her heart out. I finally decided to catch it on video since it is so darn cute!!!

We try not to laugh at her but it is almost impossible. I love it.

Accident Free??

I am so proud of my little girl. She has been accident free for over a week now. She is even pooping in the potty! I don't have to force her to go and sit on the potty every 45 minutes but instead she tells me she has to go and runs to the potty. Sometimes she doesn't even tell me and just goes. It has been a little over a month since we really started cracking down on the potty and she has done such a great job. Coming back and going to Conway was a little pain but so worth not having to buy a $20 box of diapers all the time. So, our usual two hour trip turned into three!!!

Great job Parker. I love you!

Father's Day

Our family spent Father's Day in Conway this weekend and we had an absolutely wonderful time. We had a busy Saturday and a pretty busy Sunday as well. We all got up and went to church and came back to give Parker a quick nap before all of her cousins came to visit for Father's Day. Jeff's mom was up almost all night Saturday preparing food for all the family, God bless her. It was nice to see almost all of the family, unfortunately, Cinnamon and her kids had to be in Little Rock for a basketball game and their dad was up visiting them.

I was so very fortunate to be spending the day with the very best daddy around. Jeff is kind, compassionate, loving and just plain wonderful. He loves Parker with every ounce of his being and even if he can't do somethings just right, he loves Parker just right and I hope she will never forget that or take it for granted. We love you Jeff and hope that you had a wonderful Father's Day!

Stirring Saturday

Saturday was such a busy day for us and especially for Parker. The Arkansas Shakespeare Theater was putting on the Lion, the With and the Wardrobe play and I has been really wanting to see it, yes I'm the biggest geek. I love all of the books and I really wanted to see the play. It was only a 3 person play but they did a great job with all of the characters and following the story line of the book. I debated on bringing Parker with me but at the last minute, I decided to bring her. She loved it. She surprisingly sat in my lap and watched the entire thing. I'm sure she was just thinking, "what the heck is going on here?". Later that afternoon she did some swimming with her cousin, Kalayna, and she had a blast doing that. I was lucky enough to get a little sun. After the swimming, we got dressed and met some church members from Jeff's parent's church and we went to Little Rock for the Traveler's game. I was pretty sure that Parker wouldn't sit still for this too but she did a great job. The outfield had an area for kids to play so we were there for most of the time. It seemed pretty grim for the baseball team but they pulled through and scored 6 runs in the 8th inning to win the game. Lots of excitement. Here are a few pictures from the game.

Swim Time

Here are a few pictures from our swimming yesterday. I love having a pool right outside my door! Let me know if you want to come and swim!

Water Day

Last Tuesday, Parker's class had their water day, where they get to play in the sprinklers and other water toys but earlier in the day they were all broke so... it was just the water hose. She definitely got jipped on the water day. Hopefully this Tuesday will be a lot better. She had a blast anyway playing in the water and sliding on the slide. She has fun no matter where she goes!

We've Moved!

This past week we finally packed up the old townhouse and moved into our new place. I realize now why people don't move very often. It was the biggest pain ever! Deciding what to get rid of and where it was going to go, packing up everything, lifting, unloading and then unpacking. So much hard work but I'm glad that it is over with and we are finally moved in. I love our new place and all of the ammenitites that we have now as well. Pool, fitness center and great location. We are getting a great deal since Jeff's sister owns the unit so we will just have to stay thankful while enjoying an upgrade. Last weekend through Monday, I worked extremely hard at unpacking, organizing and CLEANING! It was rough but extremely worth it.
