Parker's 3rd Birthday

I can hardly believe that Parker is already 3 going on 16 years old. My baby is growing up on me. Her birthday was Friday, March 12 and so she and I stayed home and had a day just for her. Whatever she wanted to do, we did. I made her muffins for breakfast and she was able to blow out the candles in her muffin to start the day off right.Then we started her day by going to "Old Maybe" her favorite place to shop and we found some cute birthday party attire. She then wanted to go to Target, followed by lunch at the mall with her dad and some playing at the mall playground. So, we did just that. She had a really great time and had no problem taking a nap once we got home!
Saturday was an extremely busy day for all of us. I had to take my Praxis II, again, after already passing it a first time but that is a long story I just won't get into. Parker's mimi, papaw, Aunt Marjle and grandmom all came up to Fayetteville to celebrate with Parker and honestly brougtht no less than 15 gifts with them. Parker quickly tore into those! She got tons of great toys and clothes which she loves. Then, it was time to head to Fun City Pizza for her party. As soon as we got there, she waited by the door to our private room ready to greet all of her friends. She was so excited. She had a great time playing the games, climbing in the gym and riding the firetruck with her friend, Micah,  over and over. Thanks to all who came. Parker had a great time!

Time to Really Catch Up! (Gigantic Snow is first)

A little while back, Fayetteville had quite a few large snows. At first it was pretty and wonderful but then it became extremely old! We are supposed to get MORE snow tonight and tomorrow. Not looking forward to that after days of almost 70 degree weather. Give me more sun! So here are a few pictures of Parker and Jeff playing in the snow.

Happy New Year's

We spent New Years with Jeff's brother and family and had such a great time visiting with them. Parker loves spending time with Abbi and Anna and we enjoyed it as well. Parker even made it to midnight! She was so well behaved but crashed hard when it was time to go to bed. Looking back at 2009, we have had a blessed year with happiness and health and who can ask for more than that. I hope that 2010 brings new opportunities and just as much happiness and continuing with the health. I didn't take a single pictures but we had a wonderful time if I don't have the photos to prove it. I hope everyone else has a wonderful 2010 as well!

Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was like the other years since Parker has been born and before. We had to split our time between Conway with Jeff's family and DeQueen with mine. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in Conway. Santa Claus decided to visit grandma and grandpa's house this year but hopefully from now on Santa can visit our house. Parker really loved all of her gifts and was very excited to see her new tricycle when she woke up. Here lately she has had an obsession and I am not overstating the word obsession with "beautiful lips" or lip gloss and so she received more beautiful lips than any girl could ever ask for. She received some games, puzzles and clothes and she seemed to really love it all. After opening at the grandparents, we went to Aunt Cinnamon's to watch the King kids open their gifts and it was great to watch all of the kids open their presents. Saturday morning, we got up pretty early and heading to DeQueen to have Christmas with the McLelland family. My parents went a little over the top this year but Parker loved it all. She received a new kitchen,  a big wheel, a tent, clothes, more beautiful lips and a new sleeping bag from Uncle Brian and Amy. Parker has made it a point to sleep in her tent while it is on her bed. She really loves it! I don't think I took a ton of pictures but here are a few.

Christmas Pictures and Ho Ho!

This past week, Parker had a little photo shoot with the tree and was able to see Santa Claus at school. She talked about seeing him all week and once the time came, wasn't sure of him. I was finally able to persuade her to sit and have her picture with him. After that, he was her buddy for life!

Turkey Day '09

Thanksgiving was again chaotic like it is every year but this year Jeff didn't have to rush back for "Black Friday" We were able to relax and visit with family. Parker had actually left the Friday before to stay with my parents and my aunt until we were able to come down Wednesday. I was missing her terribly and so ready to see her. The longest we have been apart in a good while. We visited my family first and had Thanksgiving Thursday with the entire family. It was really nice to see everyone. Unfortunately, Heather had to get up and work on Friday so it was short lived. Jeff and I loaded up on Friday and headed to Conway to visit Jeff's family. We missed Thanksgiving with everyone but we were able to see almost everyone on Saturday while we watched the Hog's game at Uncle Jon's and Aunt Julie's house. We had a GREAT time and it was so wonderful to see everyone. Parker had a blast playing with Abbi, Anna, Allison and Kaki. She can't wait to see you all again! Sadly, we had to load up and come back home Sunday. It was great to be home but we look forward to seeing everyone again on Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho! Sorry to disappoint but I didn't take a single picture the entire trip!

Yesterday, Parker had her Thanksgiving dinner at school. I didn't take too many pictures because I was eating as well, :). Most of the parents made delicious foods and treats for them to eat for lunch. Parker was sad that I had to go back to work but on the plus side, daddy picked her up early and she doesn't have to go back until next Monday. Parker will be going back with my parents tonight and staying with them for a few days and then staying with my aunt a few days. I will be away from my girl until next Wednesday! What am I going to do with my life??? Hopefully, get all of my school work completed so I will be FINISHED and a little bit of rest and relaxation!
