As you know, I have been teaching preschool since August but as of today, I will be teaching an Enrichment program at our school. I will only be working with the most 4 students at a time and we will be focusing on skills that they need to work on. Especially for those that are entering Kindergarten this fall. Some parents feel that their children are behind academically or not up to speed on their fine motor skills or sensory skills and this is where I come in. I'm so excited and I can't wait to get started. I'm hoping now that I will be doing this, I will only have to work 4 days a week so I'll get to be at home with Parker on Fridays. I feel blessed that the owners feel like I can take this responsibility on and I am hoping that I do a good job. Keep me in your thoughts!
Parker's Mimi and Papaw are coming up tomorrow to watch Bubba run at the indoor track meet so hopefully I will remember to bring my camera and take a few pictures.
Saturday, I am getting a night away and I can't wait. Me and a bunch of ladies from work are driving to the Downstream Casino and are staying the night. I for one, have never been gambling and I haven't left Parker with Jeff alone for an entire night so, needless to say it will be a new experience all around. I know Jeff will do a great job because he is such a great dad and is so great for letting me go. I need the day away. I'm hoping that I can get a lot of great pictures from my night away as well. Hopefully, I'll watch a bunch of people get drunk and laugh at them!

Fun City Pizza
Saturday and of course we forgot the camera again!!! We took Parker to Fun City Pizza and she had an absolute blast. She stressed me out a few times but we made it through. She would go up the maze just a little bit and come back down but after a few times of that she went up through the maze and we didn't see her for at least five minutes. Of course, I was stressing out but she was just up there having a great time, while taking her socks off too! Eventually, a little boy helped us usher her out so we weren't having a nervous breakdown for the rest of our time. We are hoping to take her to Jump Zone sometime this week and let's pray that I can remember my camera this time!
Razorback Game
Friday, the Razorbacks had a baseball double header and since Jeff was keeping Parker, he decided to take her after she woke up from her nap. It was pretty nice Friday so it was great that she was getting some fresh air. Of course he didn't bring the camera, so no pictures :(. He said she had a great time and I can't wait until we can all go to a game and relax in the outfield. It has been a crazy few months and it will be crazy for a few more. So be thinking of me! :)

Ouch!
Last night, Parker was sitting in a higher up chair at grandma and grandpa's and all of the sudden she fell out! She landed right on her forward while the rest of her body went over. You can imagine how well that felt. She had a huge goose egg on her forward and a huge bruise. It was terribly frightening but she seems to be all better. Too bad we didn't take a picture right after it happened. It gave us all a scare but all is well!
Next weekend, we are heading to De Queen to visit Mimi and Papaw and everyone else so hopefully we will have some pictures from that visit. This weekend, we went to Conway to pick up our new car and to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Parker loves visiting all of her cousins and they have so much fun.
On a side note, everyone I know is having a darn baby!! I hope all of their pregnancies go well and they do not rub off on me!! :)

New Ride!
Over the weekend, we got a new car, well not exactly brand new but it is new to us. We got a 2002 Buick Rendezvous and we absolutely love it! It has so much room and looks great. I'm like a kid when I get something new, I just want to play with and drive it ALL over the place. Now I just don't know what to do with the Sentra. Hoping to sell it really soon. Here is a pic of one of them. Maybe I can post a pic of ours sometime.

Ice Storm
Wow! What an awful week it has been. Small re-cap and I'll post some pictures soon but they aren't actually of our house but around Fayetteville.
Monday- I had to leave work pretty early due to the ice falling and we tried to stock up on batteries and things like that. We still weren't convinced anything was going to go down.
Tuesday- Ice is everywhere and we lose power around 1 pm. We don't have any back up heat so we scramble to make a decision about where to stay. We hurry and get a reservation to a hotel and go there for the night. We hoped and prayed that our power would be on the next day so silly us, we didn't reserve for another night until it was too late. What do we do??!!! After a lot of debate, we packed up and tried to roads to Conway.
Wednesday until now- We have been in Conway with heat and internet! I'm still not sure if we have power or not at home but a friend has been checking for us. As of last night, 86 % of Swepco users did have electricity so hopefully we are included in that!
I'm worried about our animals though. The first night, they both stayed without heat but they made it out alive but since then the cat has been home alone with no heat. Pray that he is still alive. Coco was rescued by a friend because she would for sure freeze to death.
I'm really looking forward to replacing tons of groceries that we had just purchased last Saturday!!! So much wasted. I'm going to continue to pray for those who are still out of power and won't receive it for a while and those people who lost their lives trying to help us out during the ice storm.
