Pretty Toes

While Parker was having lunch, I decided I would try and sneak a toenail paint in and surprisingly enough she let me do it! She just sat and ate her lunch occasionally looking down. I showed her that we had the same toes and she got pretty excited about that. It was exciting for me because this is the first and def. not the last time that I'll be painting her toes!

Park Time

Yesterday, we took another fun trip to the park and thankfully there weren't too many people there. So Parker had free reign over everything. She had a great time running and eating a little sand.

Reading Time

Parker loves to sit and "read" her books. It is so cute to hear her telling her own stories while looking at her different books. I caught a few shots of her "reading" the other night before she went to bed.

Splish Splash!

Just a little video of Parker playing in the tub a while back. We tried to get her to name her body parts but she wasn't too interested at the time. She is usually great at it!

Jeff's Surgery Update

Jeff had his knee surgery on Tuesday and he did well. What they originally thought was the Meniscus wasn't actually correct. There was nothing wrong with the Meniscus but instead the
ACL was partially torn. Couldn't they see that in an MRI?? So, there is nothing that we can do to prevent the ACL from tearing all the way. We aren't sure what was actually done in the surgery. I know he removed some scar tissue that had been causing some bleeding in the knee. Hopefully he isn't going to have the same pain that he had before. I guess it is a waiting game for the ACL now. It may tear all the way in a year or so or never tear at all. I'm glad is doing well though.

Checkup

This morning we took Parker for her 15 month checkup and everything went extremely well. She unfortunately had to have one shot that she wasn't given at her year check up but now she doesn't have to have any more until she goes to Kindergarten!! Other than the shot, everything went well.

Weight- 23 lbs (yes she is still skinny)
height- 33 1/2 inches (and yes she is still super tall)

She seems to be right on track developmentally and I am thankful for that. I try to work with her everyday on colors and numbers and she loves for us to read to her. I hope she stays on this great track!

Jeff's Surgery

Also next Tuesday, Jeff is having surgery on his knee. In February, he tore his Meniscus so he is having Orthoscopic surgery to repair it. He will be under anesthesia but should be just fine. Keep us in your thoughts in hopes that nothing goes wrong during this procedure. He won't be able to walk for about two days but after that he should be just fine. Hopefully he will be more careful next time, :)
